Need posters to promote your event or your business?

The simple answer is yes! Many will tell you that you can just post the event on the internet. Yes you should, as well as any other media which will attract the attention of your attendees . Think about where they will be looking and plan for your optimum exposure.

Today posters can be the cool graphic posted on a wall or billboard as well as link you to the internet. If you add a QR Code to your poster, anyone who has an iPhone, Android or BlackBerry will be able to jump to the link you provided in the QR Code.

Wouldn’t is be fantastic to be able to view a bands new video right from their tour poster, or to jump to a ticket sales site for an upcoming event, maybe to make reservations to a restaurant which is promoting fresh Oregon produce. Get the point!

Today a poster is capable of some pretty heavy lifting and shouldn’t be left out of your marketing tool kit. This is a sample of a very successful poster which helped the West Linn Ski Team raise money for their 2010-11 season. It used QR Codes to give the sponsors additional exposure. As a local Oregon City printer who is very close to West Linn, we aided in the design, created the QR Codes for the sponsors and printed the poster for the team.

If you need help with your QR Code for your poster, just give us a call and we’ll get you on your way to a successful event promotion.
