School Auction Catalogs

School auctions are an important part of every school’s fund raising program.

Some things to keep in mind when setting up your auction book:

Flow of the program
Which items will be highlighted and when to use color
Have everyday items which everyone can use—this broadens your audience
How to benefit from the use of QR Codes
Places to provide recognition for the supporting businesses
Add advertising to the back of the paddles—this is the best place for an ad, and will be seen all night long!
The most common size of auction books are either 5.5″ X 8.5″ or 4.25″ X 11″, with either a saddle stitch or wire-o binding.

Remember, you can judge a book by its cover, and often a nice cover will help make the evening a special one!
